Role
Who you are
- Kpler is seeking a talented and motivated full stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team
- You will have experience in TypeScript or JavaScript as well as a modern, front-end framework and demonstrate a willingness to learn when required.
- Experience in any of Scala, Python or PHP would be an advantage, but is not essential
What the job involves
- In this role, you will focus on developing and maintaining our authorisation and user management systems.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions that ensure secure access to our platform's data and services.
- Your software engineering expertise will be crucial in delivering high-quality code that meets our growing business needs.
- Design, Development and Deploy:
- Develop and maintain robust authorisation and user management systems using a modern tech stack
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Deploy Docker containerised solutions to AWS via Terraform, Helm charts, Kubernetes and other technologies
- System Integration:
- Integrate user management systems with existing and new internal and third-party APIs
- Ensure seamless integration of new features with existing systems and services
- Code Quality and Best Practices:
- Write clean, efficient and maintainable code following industry best practices
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback
- Maintain thorough documentation of your work to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team
- Testing and Debugging:
- Develop unit, integration and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability of the solutions
- Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues in a timely manner
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
