Company mission

To help everyone arrive at a secure retirement.

Role

Who you are

  • Our ideal candidate has been part of a high performance, high-tech subscription-based company, and has a proven track record of supporting a growth-stage organization in implementing and maintaining critical systems, administering and oversight of those systems and ensuring the high level of data quality
  • The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of revenue-generating activities and will be instrumental in optimizing these processes to achieve the organization’s growth objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions, and craft recommendations and results into easily digestible messages, communications, and executive presentations
  • 5+ years experience in RevOps roles; strong preference for candidates with backgrounds in early- to growth-stage SaaS environments
  • Entrepreneurial mindset - previous experience in a technology startup or evidence that you are scrappy with a "get-it-done" attitude; our ideal candidate will thrive in an ambiguous environment and want to wear many hats
  • A diverse history and skillset within RevOps; we are seeking someone who is a RevOps and capable of quickly grasping the detailed tasks necessary to manage all aspects of Partnership-focused operations
  • Skilled in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, arrays, some modeling) and solid understanding of various technologies/tools such as CRM systems (e.g., SFDC) and BI applications (e.g., Tableau) used to optimize and streamline business processes
  • Proven track record in building relationships and effectively communicating with senior leaders to solve complex, cross-functional challenges in a fast paced, high-growth business environment
  • Naturally analytical mindset with ability to break down complex issues with limited guidance, operationalize solutions and communicate; just as comfortable in a spreadsheet as a slide deck

What the job involves

  • Guideline’s new Revenue Operations Manager will play a pivotal role on the RevOps team that will support our existing and potential Strategic Partnerships
  • The Revenue Operations Manager will continuously work to improve existing Partner-related operations functions, identify areas for improvement within existing processes, and optimize the new Partner onboarding experience
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive Partnership reporting program, including creating and troubleshooting reports on performance, leveraging data-driven insights to recommend optimizations and future strategies
  • Assist the Partnerships team by thoroughly understanding motions and related data, including converting this knowledge into strategic business insights and ensure leadership is informed on trends and risks
  • Help shape and implement the go-to-market strategy for Partnerships, including driving annual and quarterly planning and target setting, conducting analysis of the business, gathering insights, making compelling recommendations to internal stakeholders, and driving change management to improve the business in line with priorities
  • Ensure critical systems, such as our CRM and automation tools, are clean and well-maintained; deduplication, system optimization, and proper tool integrations will make sure everything is running smoothly so our teams can be more effective
  • Architect and champion the adoption of tools and processes, partnering with cross-functional teams (Analytics, Strategic Partnerships, Product, Finance, etc.) to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure measures are in place to keep data as up to date and complete as possible, including integrations across systems, auditing reports to identify when data is 'off', and validating systems to ensure users add the correct data
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of technologies to enhance Partnership effectiveness, including ensuring tools and systems are fully leveraged to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy
  • Support cross-functional team members to solve for gaps and evaluate tradeoffs between key Partner opportunities, including proactively identifying inhibitors to growth, unblocking roadblocks and maintaining cross-segment alignment to overall strategy
  • Resolve and promptly escalate issues, risks and dependencies – proactively identifying potential gaps and critical path analysis, and collaborate cross-functionally to execute on product development and launch plans
  • Own recurring business processes, reporting, and key systems to drive operational delivery of Partnerships business; iteratively improve data integrity and accuracy to drive business processes
  • Our teams reply on things like intent and user data to tell a story that we can then interpret and act upon; data needs to be shared freely between our teams to provide a seamless experience to our customers and be more effective
  • Collaborate with Partner and Partner Development teams to create, complete and deliver sharp analysis on campaign performance, utilizing tools to streamline with a focus on transparency, visibility and actionable insights
  • Derive time-sensitive insights from quantitative and qualitative data research, in partnership with analytic counterparts, and create analysis to identify gaps and make strategic recommendations
  • Own the tracking, reporting, and management of Partnership performance metrics, manage the performance analysis / metrics of the Partnerships organization using reports, dashboards and reporting tool

Our take

When businesses offer a 401(K) plan, a message is sent to employees and potential employees that their future is valued by their employer. However, small businesses are often left behind, being charged extortionate fees or ignored by 401(K) providers altogether, leaving many American families with no retirement savings and the potential of retiring into poverty.

Guideline spotted this oversight as an opportunity to jump in and offer small businesses an affordable 401(K). It generates income by charging each business a flat monthly fee per participant.

The company now manages retirement plans for hundreds of thousands of people in over 40,000 companies and has accumulated over $8 billion in assets under management. Benefits providers Intuit, Gusto, and Square all use Guideline as their 401(K) partner.
