Role
Who you are
- 5+ years in a Implementation Consultant, Engagement Manager role in Enterprise B2B SaaS
- Experience with large user deployments for Fortune 100 companies, spanning many use-cases, business units, across thousands of users
- Highly consultative - able to uncover use-cases, identify business needs and map to a Writer solution
- Excellent project management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities, prioritize and create the right accountabilities for success
- Experience managing and building relationships across multiple stakeholder levels, including C-Level at Fortune 100 organizations
- Experience in the art of Change Management. You know how to motivate, unblock and overcome barriers to large, transformational change
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of editorial processes or working with Content Marketing, Technical Writing or UX teams a real plus
- Consulting experience at a big 4 firm a plus
- Proactive communication skills, both sync and async
- Intrinsically motivated: you set the highest possible bar for what you build, write, ship

What the job involves
- We’re looking for an Enterprise Implementation Consultant whose top priority is helping customers onboard and realize value quickly across their teams with Writer
- Our Product is adopted across an Organization so we need someone who is comfortable in a complex customer relationship environment navigating many relationships, uncovering a variety of use cases and project managing deliverables to drive value across their business
- As one of our founding Enterprise Implementation Consultants, you’ll be on the ground-floor helping us build processes for onboarding for our largest Enterprise customers
- You'll be reporting to the VP Customer Success and be working very closely with our other customer success managers in building a World Class CS org
- Act as the owner of a customer’s implementation process, ensuring we’re hitting key value based outcomes of first value for activation and adoption
- Develop and project manage the customer’s implementation plan, including the milestones, key owners and accountabilities
- Lead strategy workshops for customers to map use-cases for Generative AI and refine the quality of outputs so they are optimal
- Coordinate the development of a customer’s Style Guide and provide strategic advice to optimize
- Develop expertise as an advisor of best practices in leveraging AI to deliver on brand content at scale
- Drive transformational change by prescribing how a customer should build a program around Writer to drive durable value beyond implementation
- Work closely with your CSM, Solutions Architect and AE partners to facilitate a smooth transition from evaluation to implementation and habit forming
- Overcome barriers to implementation, unblocking challenges as they arise
Our take
AI-assisted writing tools have taken off over recent years. With the likes of high-exposure company Grammarly accelerating adoption of such tools, a flurry of startups have appeared to offer their own takes. Writer’s angle is to leverage AI as a means of standardizing and scaling both content and communications for business teams. The tool offers autofilling and inline suggestions that keep content aligned with pre-determined company language and style guides.
This branded fine-tuning function distinguishes it from full copy-generation competitors, as well as from Grammarly itself, which is a more generalist copyediting tool. It subsequently caters to major enterprise clients looking to maintain standards across multiple and sprawling teams, and the company has managed to net major clients like Deloitte, Twitter, UiPath, and Accenture.
While AI-related buzz remains solidly around generative AIs like ChatGPT and Bard, Writer's narrow target market - in which it has already found success - supplies plenty of scope to grow, as AI copyediting tools look set to rapidly become content industry standard. With continued new launches and updates to its offerings as well as an impressive $100 million Series B awarded in 2023, the company is well-placed to seek further success into the future.
