Who you are
- The ideal candidate will excel at tackling complex challenges, is deeply committed to developing trustworthy software and is comfortable working at a fast pace on a variety of tasks
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in leading and developing software solutions for customer-facing platforms
- Proven record of establishing and promoting a culture of high-quality software development, consistently setting and upholding the highest standards of coding excellence and documentation within the company
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, debug code efficiently, and automate routine tasks to enhance system functionality
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions to varied audiences
- Strong problem-solving ability and the ability to work in ambiguous and constantly evolving environment
- Proficient in Python, with experience in writing high-quality, maintainable code. Familiarity with additional programming languages is a plus

What the job involves
- We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Integrity Team, focused on enhancing the safety and reliability of our systems across various content modalities
- In this role, you will leverage your expertise to lead, design, build, and implement critical solutions that uphold our high standards of AI safety and integrity
- Your responsibilities will also include working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that these systems integrate seamlessly and support the broader goals of our organization
- Lead, Design, develop, and maintain robust integrity-based solutions to enhance our detection and enforcement capabilities. Collaborate closely with software engineers and product managers to create scalable, efficient systems
- Work collaboratively with peers across different teams to support and enhance a shared technical infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers and peers, setting high standards for code quality and engineering best practices
- Write high-quality, maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices
- Lead, build and improve tools and platforms that integrate content moderation teams seamlessly into our existing tech stack, enhancing operational efficiency and support
- Promote a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning within the team
