Company mission

To give small business owners a great experience while getting the finance they need.

Role

Who you are

  • You’ll have 3+ years experience in direct marketing - in a B2B SAAS or related tech company looking for a new challenge. Some exposure to working directly with sales teams is a big plus
  • You’ll be comfortable with working across paid and owned marketing channels and using a variety of tactics to achieve your goal
  • You’ll be hyper-customer-focused and enjoy understanding what makes them tick. You’ll find it easy to speak their language and create creative tailored campaigns that resonate (1tomany, 1tofew, 1to1)
  • You’ll have strong B2B copywriting skills and have experience creating content at different stages of the marketing funnel including long form content for lead generation
  • Experience in evolving marketing programs based on performance data, ground level feedback from sales and understanding of the business
  • You’re confident using CRM tools like Hubspot or similar to create campaigns and basic reporting dashboards
  • An ability to understand results from Linked In Campaign Manager and work with our Paid Digital agency to optimise campaigns would be fantastic - but we can help you learn on the job
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment where the product and target audience can change rapidly

What the job involves

  • The role sits within the iwocaPay marketing team but you’ll work closely with the sales team, empowering the team with the tools they need
  • You’ll own the comms strategy to engage our portfolio of key target accounts. It’ll be your job to create tailored campaigns to reach out to target accounts
  • Working closely with the sales team to support their pipeline using a mix of channels and tactics to reach and nurture leads through the flow to sign up
  • Creating ABM content and assets that cut through
  • You’ll be the go-to person for the sales team when it comes to all things content
  • You’ll be able to identify what content or assets we need to reach a contact and get them to the next stage of the funnel. This could range from an email, a PDF, a video demo, or something physical in the post
  • You’ll be comfortable writing your own copy and creating your own assets (with the support of our design team)
  • Managing Hubspot automated flows for sales team
  • As part of your outreach campaigns you’ll need to set up automated emails in Hubspot
  • You’ll report on their performance and make recommendations of where we can improve
  • In your first 30 days: You’ll familiarise yourself with existing content and comms flows (including LinkedIn campaigns). You’ll embed yourselves with the sales team getting to know them and their key accounts.
  • In your first 60 days: You’ll identify where we could improve existing content and comms and choose one area to make changes
  • In your first 90 days: You’ll launch a new campaign to engage a segment of key accounts

UK SME's are the backbone of a complex economy that is constantly changing, so the need for fast and responsive access to finance is becoming more and more important to ensure their success and growth. iwoca allows SMEs access to business loans in less than a minute, with its API and business marketplace partnerships.

With offerings like iwoca's, gone are the days where waiting up to eight weeks for a loan decision was viable. Its simplified business loans of £1,000 - £500,000 come with no fees attached, and applying online takes no more than five minutes. The ready availability of iwoca loans gives business owners a level of certainty, so that they can make instant decisions to help their business grow.

iwoca has made a number of partnerships with other players in the business finance space, including an impressive industry-first invoice checkout integration with QuickBooks. Funding raised by the company, which is now operating at net profitability, will enable it to meet a recent surge in demand for corporate loans. The company has made several billion in funding available to over 100,000 businesses since launching, positioning itself as a leading European fintech.

Company values

  • Motivated: Going to work shouldn't feel like a slog, so we want everyone in the team to personally care about what they're working on. We stay motivated by celebrating our wins, learning from our mistakes, and always looking for new gaps to step into.
  • Smart: At iwoca being smart isn't about what you know, it's about how you think. Smart thinking means looking at each problem by asking ‘why’ first, then figuring out ‘how’.
  • Humble: We know all ideas are flawed, all code has bugs, and everyone makes mistakes - it’s how we learn. For us, being humble means you question yourself first, rather than your team.
  • Growth Mindset: We think there's always a better way to solve a problem. So we never let ourselves get comfortable with being good enough.
