  • 3-4 years of experience in sales strategy, planning, operations, or consulting
  • Stellar analytical, written, and verbal communications skills
  • Expert in excel and Salesforce
  • Previous hands-on experience gathering requirements, ideating, building, and testing complex analytical models
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage ambiguity
  • Consistent track record of building complex and dynamic and working with sales teams

Desirable

  • Basic understanding of how channel partnerships work
  • SQL experience is a plus
  • Comfort with accountability to multiple internal and external stakeholders, with ability to effectively prioritize between them
  • Sensitivity to sales cycle and able to handle challenging customer/partner situations

What the job involves

  • As a Partnerships Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for leading performance based analysis on Samsara’s global partner programs
  • You will work closely with our Partner Program Managers to drive a thoughtful understanding of the health of Samsara Partner business and identify key areas of opportunity
  • Measure the effectiveness of partner programs and drive a deep understanding of the health of partner business through global QBRs, sales kickoffs, and ad hoc reporting
  • Build interactive analysis to help communicate Partner penetration, upmarket growth, sales segment impact and forecasting
  • Work cross-functionally to build partner reporting infrastructure across Salesforce, Databricks, and Tableau tools
  • Lead strategic analysis supporting Partner Account Manager field activities including our annual Partner Summit
  • Manage run-the-business analysis including support on quota planning, annual operating plan, 3-yr plan, and partner tier performance
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
