Who you are

  • The ideal candidate has both a business background that enables them to engage at the CXO level and agency sales background that enables them to easily interact with agency leadership
  • You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about the agency's mission with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions around technology offerings and professional services
  • 7+ years sales experience in enterprise Identity, Cloud Security, or PAM Sales preferred
  • Possess a knowledge base of Cloud Identity Management, Cloud Privileged Access Management and/or Cloud Security Governance technology
  • Ability to comfortably interact with C-level executives and Government leadership, demonstrating excellent communication skills, the ability to differentiate and work at strategic and tactical levels simultaneously
  • Successful history of working with Resellers, SI’s, and Advisories
  • Cross-functional influence and well-developed relationship-building skills, willingness to take a leadership role driving initiatives, working across organizations, and structuring new opportunities
  • Ability to manage your portfolio of business opportunities by utilizing CRM tools to provide sales pipeline growth and accurate quarterly forecasting
  • Entrepreneurial with a high level of energy, dedication, and an unrelenting drive to succeed and win; yet, be a team player and have a collaborative approach to winning
  • Professional, ambitious, determined, and results-oriented mindset
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented, self-starter who can work alone and in a collaborative manner to achieve regional goals

What the job involves

  • As a Public Sector Account Executive, you will deliver on our strategy to build mind share and adoption of key technologies in an assigned territory covering Government agencies and Government sector (MOD, MOJ, HMRC etc)
  • Develop and grow relationships within an assigned Public Sector territory with an emphasis on Central Government, Local Government and Universities. In addition, your territory will include working with Public Sector Systems Integrators who manage key agency programs
  • Develop and activate executive relationships at the individual stakeholder and decision-maker levels within your agency territory to achieve growth and position leading technology solutions focused on Cybersecurity, Zero Trust, Cloud Enablement, and providing identity solutions to Public Sector environments
  • Work closely with prime contract holders to provide maximum value to the government for cybersecurity investments
  • Create and execute strategic account plans for each account to target CXO decision-makers and influencers
  • Identify and prospect for new targets for technology solutions and professional services
  • Produce and articulate business cases for prospective and existing Public Sector customers in collaboration with our solution architecture/engineering team and as well as with our key strategic technology partners
  • Meet or exceed all revenue and gross profit quota for your portfolio of Public Sector organisations
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Our take

Sayvint’s Identity Governance and Administration platform helps secure access to corporate systems in the cloud such as Workday, Office 365, AWS, Salesforce, SAP and Hadoop. It was created to offer an innovative, modern solution as its founder believed that existing identity services were not optimised.

By spending its early years in stealth mode, developing its product technology and switching to a cloud based model, the company was well prepared for a quick up-scale. This has been achieved partly because of the fact that it favours targeting large companies, boasting clients like Marriott, BP, KuppingerCole and Toyota Connected.

Sayvint faces a major rival in the form of SailPoint, which was an earlier entrant in the space, and went public sooner. However, Sayvint is growing rapidly and has converted some notable customers from SailPoint in the process. The company has continually invested in its platform to maintain a competitive edge, earning industry recognition along the way, and has recently concentrated on securing new customers and growing its partner ecosystem.
