Who you are

  • We are looking for an entrepreneurial and fluent German & English speaking Enterprise Sales Manager (DACH-region) to join and sell our mission worldwide!
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and like to be the first DACH employee
  • You speak and write fluent English and German
  • You have at least 5 years' working experience in a similar commercial role
  • You have demonstrable experience with customer relations, (c-level) stakeholder management at large enterprise organizations, and closing deals
  • You have an affinity with circularity, sustainability and tech
  • You like to think outside the box: serving customers internationally is definitely more complex, but you will find your ways to set up a partnership
  • You thrive in a dynamic scale-up environment where no two days are the same. Although you will most likely be on the road / abroad, you also like to work together and feel part of Seenons and our mission

What the job involves

  • You will be responsible for the international sales of large enterprises in the DACH-region
  • Help us define our DACH-GTM strategy based on our global experience
  • Building a strong network and connecting with large enterprises and service partners in the DACH-region that align with our target segments
  • Prioritizing your prospects and leads in the early phase, based on their potential closing rate, customer value and the effort to implement
  • Mapping stakeholders (and their challenges and needs) across the entire organization. Including the board, sustainability managers, facility managers, operational managers and other roles that might influence the decision
  • Drafting, presenting and negotiating proposals that address the challenges and needs of this potential customer. To build a strong proposal, you will also perform waste scans on their locations to identify the potential & quick wins
  • Working closely together with the Marketing Team (to build our brand internationally) and the Product & Tech Team (to define how we can serve the customer via our platform)

Waste is a major problem in Europe, with millions tonnes of waste incinerated per year. While the EU has set ambitious targets of zero waste by 2030, and zero-waste influencers have taken TikTok by storm, the infrastructure doesn't yet exist to achieve these goals. Enter Seenons, a Dutch startup aiming to make zero waste a reality. Its platform is designed to connect the waste chain and stimulate the circular economy, saving resources and fighting climate change in the process.

Seenons' platform works by linking together waste companies in a kind of marketplace, connecting waste channels in such a way that the right kinds of waste reach the right processors. This saves a huge amount of waste from the incinerator - Seenons has calculated that its solution could reduce waste in the Netherlands by half a million tonnes, or around 25%. As the only solution of its type in Europe, the company has collected numerous awards and venture capital funding to support its goals.

Seenons has grown its team swiftly, and has its sights set on becoming the European leader in the circular economy by 2026. As demand for zero-waste solutions is on the rise, it seems set to continue its promising trajectory into the future. Funding raised will help to make technological improvements to its offering, as well as invest in international growth.
