Who you are

  • As a Motion Designer specializing in both 3D and 2D animation, with over 7 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in bringing visual stories to life across various platforms
  • 7+ years of experience in motion design with a strong portfolio showcasing advanced skills in both 3D and 2D animation
  • Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, and other relevant tools
  • Deep understanding of animation principles and visual storytelling, with the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling visual narratives
  • Experience with video editing and compositing, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to create seamless transitions and polished final products
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of creativity and quality
  • Team-oriented mindset, with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Full professional proficiency in English (written and verbal)

  • Your expertise in animation, combined with your understanding of brand storytelling, will ensure that all animated content is not only visually appealing but also aligns with strategic objectives
  • You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, editing and executing complex animations, while also providing direction and mentorship to more junior team members

  • Conceptualize and Design: Develop high-quality animations in both 3D and 2D, catering to a range of mediums including digital ads, social media content, and video explainers. Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and visual standards
  • End-to-End Animation: Manage the entire animation process from storyboarding and visual development to final execution, ensuring each piece aligns with the overarching brand strategy and messaging
  • Multi-Platform Expertise: Adapt animations to perform optimally across various platforms, understanding the nuances of each to maximize impact, whether for web, mobile, or social media or large scale event screens
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with designers, art directors, and marketing teams to integrate animated content into broader campaigns, ensuring cohesive storytelling across all touchpoints

  • Lead Artistic Vision: Establish and maintain the artistic direction for animated projects, ensuring visual consistency and high standards across all deliverables
  • Innovative Storytelling: Leverage insights from consumer behavior, cultural trends, and brand narratives to create compelling visual stories that resonate with target audiences
  • Provide Feedback and Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior animators and motion designers, offering constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and growth
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into dynamic visual content that drives engagement and supports marketing goals
  • Project Execution
  • Project Management: Oversee the execution of multiple animation projects simultaneously, from brief to delivery, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met
  • Autonomous Execution: Take ownership of projects with minimal supervision, proactively identifying and resolving challenges to ensure seamless delivery
  • Client and Stakeholder Interaction: Present and defend creative concepts and animations to internal and external stakeholders, articulating design choices and animation strategies effectively
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain a high level of quality control throughout the production process, from pre-production through post-production, ensuring all output meets the studio’s standards

Adyen has been one of the companies riding the wave by helping to reduce the friction between a company choosing to take payments online, and actually being able to do it. That can take multiple steps and agreements across numerous countries — Adyen’s pitch is that it essentially handles all of it in the backend as a service for its users. Notable partners have included Autocanteen, a touchless self-checkout solution for the hospitality industry, and BILL, a small business-focused fintech platform.
