Who you are
- Experience with relational database internals
- Experience with the above technical areas is a plus but not required if the candidate has strong background working with large-scale data systems
- Experience with Go is a plus but not required
- Self-motivated, fearless, likes to dive in the code and get stuff done
- Strong teamplayer who can work independently but cares about context and knows when to reach out
What the job involves
- As a senior member of the data backend team, you will help drive the roadmap of several exciting areas of the backend development and make our product better with new backend capabilities
- You will also mentor junior members of the team and help set the technical standard of the entire team
- The technical areas you may work on include but are not limited to:
- Query optimization
- Query execution
- Stream processing
- Materialized view
