Role
Who you are
- Strong experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
- Experience with design systems, component-based design, and design tools such as Sketch or Figma
- Proven experience with a modern JS toolchain: e.g. NPM, Turborepo, Typescript, ESLint,..
- A passion to write well-structured, easily maintainable, well-documented code that balances beauty and pragmatism
- Strong understanding of user experience principles, design thinking, and design methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, ability to self-organise and work well within teams
- Ability to plan and deliver engineering projects
- Creative thinking and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to interact with people from across the business and build strong relationships, including the ability to influence upwards effectively
- Self-starter and proactive approach
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Familiarity with continuous integration
- Familiarity with development-aiding tools

What the job involves
- Given our exciting and progressive growth plans, we are looking for an exceptional Senior Front-End Engineer to come join our global business
- Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, and working collaboratively in a cross-functional product team within a tribe, you will be accountable for designing and developing applications and coordinating with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure Fresha

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and design requirements for the design system
- Develop and maintain documentation for the design system, including design principles, guidelines, and component libraries
- Ensure that the design system is accessible, responsive, and optimized for performance across multiple platforms and devices
- Work closely with the UX team to ensure that the design system aligns with the organization's design language and branding
- Continuously evaluate and improve the design system based on user feedback, industry best practices, and emerging technologies
- Implement and maintain a consistent and scalable development process for the design system
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate the design system into our products and platforms
- Contribute to a healthy engineering culture of feedback and growth
