Analytics Engineer, Hakkoda

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent area
• 2+yrs in related technical roles, data management, database development, ETL, and/or data analysis domains
• Good understanding of data prep, analytics and visualization tools like R, Python, Excel and Tableau
• Experience/exposure to SQL language, Python, Cloud infrastructure is a plus
• Understanding of REST APIs, data modeling, data warehousing, data lakes and big-data concepts
• SQL scripting
• Experience with business intelligence / data analytics
• Ability to prepare reports and present to internal and customer stakeholders
• Track record of sound problem solving skills and action oriented mindset
• Strong interpersonal skills including assertiveness and ability to build strong client relationships
• Ability to work in Agile teams
• Advanced English
• We are looking for people experienced with building data warehouses and analytics systems in the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• A Hakkoda Data Analyst will collect and analyze data to identify trends and provide clients with valuable information that they can use to improve marketing, operational and business practices
• Their main duties include identifying, gathering, analyzing data and making their insights accessible to the company through easy-to-understand graphs, charts, tables and reports
• You will be working closely with data engineers, asset owners and team experts and will have responsibilities across different dimensions
• You will support the experts in the development of new tools and/or the maintenance of current proprietary databases especially through database structuring, developing workflow processes and reporting
