Who you are

  • An understanding of cybersecurity concepts, in addition to fundamental marketing, content marketing, and copywriting best practices, will be essential to deliver effective, impactful content aligned with BeyondTrust's goals
  • Superb writer, editor, and proofer of both short- and long-form content, with scrupulous attention to detail
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • 2 - 6 years of experience in writing and content creation
  • Experience in cybersecurity, DevOps, or IT risk management is highly desirable. Product marketing and technical experience is also highly desirable
  • A storyteller who relishes getting deep into complex topics and distilling them with the goal of people looking forward to hearing what we have to say
  • Brings a mix of creative and analytical thinking, and is team-oriented
  • A continuous learner with an inquisitive and curious nature
  • The ability to translate research and insights into relevant stories

What the job involves

  • The BeyondTrust Content Marketing Writer will contribute to powering our prolific content creation engine to support SEO, the website, blog, PR, campaigns, field marketing activities, product marketing, and more
  • They will help to write and optimize content development across all stages to help drive strategic business goals
  • The Content Marketing Writer will strive to understand our marketing initiatives, digital channels, strategic positioning, and target audiences
  • Write and edit blogs, white papers, presentations, glossary posts, case studies, emails, ad copy, and more that is consistent with BeyondTrust’s brand voice, style, and tone
  • Continuously audit web pages to help our team improve copy, optimize for SEO, and ensure messaging and resources are up-to-date and well-articulated
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to a broad audience in clear language
  • Help grow BeyondTrust’s awareness, thought leadership, marketing pipeline, and customer base
  • Keep a constant pulse on the identity security market to understand the technology, customer, and competitive landscapes
  • Leverage data to optimize content and achieve a good marketing ROI
