Who you are

  • Our ideal candidate has a track record of success in creating and owning direct to consumer FinTech products in a competitive space, specifically in neobanks, cards and/or payments
  • This Senior PM will have a strong background in product management and product marketing and be well versed in building financial products in partnership with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • The Senior PM will be responsible for the strategy and roadmap for their product in collaboration with our stakeholders
  • Be mission oriented and able to foster empathy for customers whose circumstances may be different from your own
  • Have a bias towards action - you love taking the lead on challenging problems and hate sitting still
  • Be curiosity to learn about complex systems and problems
  • Have strong analytical skills and experience running and hypothesis-driven experiments and evaluating their results
  • Excellent communicator, in both written and verbal form
  • Strong collaboration in team environments, but able to act quickly as the decision-maker
  • 4-8+ years of product management experience, ideally in FinTech, banking, or other mobile B2C technology
  • Previous experience at a fast-growing startup
  • Experience leading product squads or teams, and managing others
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, with comfort working in an agile environment
  • Minimum education of bachelor degree, or equivalent

What the job involves

  • We are looking for a Senior Product Manager and a Lead for our Consumer Banking squad to help delight Clair customers with a one-of-a-kind digital banking experience
  • Drive adoption and engagement of Clair’s Spending Account by delivering value to prospective and current customers via Clair’s banking features
  • Champion Clair’s product strategy, creating alignment and enthusiasm with your squad
  • Radically prioritize product initiatives based on learnings from time spent with users and the business needs
  • Lead the product development process within your squad, from ideation to evaluation, driving effective teamwork and open communication to maintain high development velocity
  • Keep your internal and external stakeholders in the know on what you’re shipping
  • Be a product expert, understanding your internal and external dependencies for each initiative
  • Drive effective teamwork and open communication, both within your squad and with the rest of the company
  • Manage, train, and develop more junior product managers
  • Provide continuous feedback to other members of the Clair team, helping them grow in their role
  • Collaborate with the other squad product leaders to ensure alignment across the entire Clair product
