What the job involves
- Leading Jupe’s entire digital UI/UX ecosystem
- Designing, producing, and managing all digital content across web, mobile and social
- Collaborating with Head of Product and lead Software Engineers on feature development, product strategy, and user journey mapping
- Transforming wireframes into intuitive user interfaces
- Working with Webflow - manifesting a super fresh and clean experience
- Conducting customer research studies and feedback sessions to inform product design
- Testing new designs and beta products with real users for iterative development
- Ensuring consistency in designs and content across all Jupe platforms
- Owning all digital assets and style guidelines across Jupe
- Coordinating with contracted creative professionals such as photographers and CGI artists

- 🚀 Build from 1st principles - The laws of physics don’t preclude Jupe from making millions of homes that are off-grid, recyclable, portable, and affordable. While all of these things are difficult in isolation and extremely difficult in concert, no law of the universe is stopping us. Adding a feature to something, having another meeting or adding a part is easy, but removing — removing things while improving them is hard. - 🐶 Eat the dog food - ‘Dogfooding’ is startup slang for the act of using what you make I.e. ‘eating your own dog food’. As we’re making infrastructure for entire villages, we can literally live life in what we make, which may mean we’re the first to sleep in a Jupe living unit, cook in a Jupe kitchen, shower in a Jupe shower, harvest tomatoes in a Jupe garden, even p*ssing in the Jupe prototype toilet
- 🏎 Outrun the problem - Humanity is in a footrace against some very big problems and Jupe has focused its sights on one of the largest: housing.
