Who you are
- Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who is excited to dive into the world of People Operations
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in HR, administration, or a related role
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
- Solid proficiency in GSuite, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with HRIS/Payroll tools is a plus
- Good judgment and discretion, ability to handle highly sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
- Team player with a positive and customer-focused attitude
What the job involves
- We are looking for a People Operations Administrator working East Coast US hours to assist in the day-to-day operations of our HR department
- This role is a 6 month contract, with a possibility to extend
- This role will play a key part in our Global People Operations team, ensuring that administrative processes run smoothly and that employees receive support
- In this role, you'll learn the ropes of People Operations while providing administrative support to our employees at Neo4j
- As a member of this team, you'll have the opportunity to learn and grow in a high-trust environment where you'll be encouraged to exercise creativity and suggest improvements in your focus areas
- Support employees through their entire lifecycle, from onboarding through internal movement through offboarding
- Maintain accurate and up to date employee records
- Collaborate with the HR Business Partners to process employee changes such as promotions, transfers, terminations, etc
- Provide first level support on day-to-day HR policy and operational questions
- Backup other People Operations team member tasks, as needed
- Perform other HR related duties as needed

These include Airbnb, eBay, Lyft, and NASA, the latter of which used graph database technology from Neo4j during the development of the Orion spacecraft.
