Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of product management experience in the technology sector, with a significant portion dedicated to SaaS products
  • Demonstrated success in leading product development from conception through launch and post-launch analysis

What the job involves

  • The Senior Director of Product Management for Email Applications will lead the strategic oversight and development of Email product portfolio at 6sense including its GenAI based Conversational Email application
  • This role is critical in defining the future product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aiming to revolutionize how B2B sales and marketing teams utilize AI to enhance revenue growth and customer engagement
  • The Senior Director will be instrumental in establishing a strong product-market fit, continuously interacting with clients to deeply understand their needs and validate the solutions provided
  • Through expert leadership and strategic acumen, this role will drive product innovation and deliver tailored solutions that align with evolving market demands and client expectations
  • Develop a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for 6sense’s Email Marketing product portfolio that aligns with the overarching product and business objectives. Ensure the roadmap drives differentiation, enabling 6sense to achieve its growth aspirations in the short, mid, and long term. Anticipate future trends and proactively shape strategies to stay ahead of the competition
  • Assume full ownership of the end-to-end execution of the vision for Email applications, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of software product delivery and the strategic impact of high-level technical decisions
  • Drive continuous improvement of products working relentlessly to drive the enhancement of customer experience
  • Engage with customers to grasp their challenges and requirements. Utilize direct interactions and data-driven metrics, such as NPS and customer feedback, to pinpoint critical areas for development. Transform detailed customer insights and market intelligence into a strategically differentiated product portfolio. Leverage these insights to identify potential product extensions and avenues for robust growth
  • Fuels growth and measurable competitive advantage

  • Collaborate closely with engineering to meticulously prioritize objectives and goals, ensuring the development of high-quality products that achieve widespread customer adoption
  • Act as a talent magnet, attracting industry-leading professionals to the organization and assembling a best-in-class team with operational rigor, that takes pride in their work, has excellent morale, is data oriented, and is empowered to drive growth and make critical decisions in alignment with company's strategic objectives
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to define and achieve revenue targets specific to the 6sense Email product line
  • Improve customer satisfaction metrics, such as Net Promoter Score (NPS)
  • Product delivery and launch success of new features within the planned timelines
  • Success in building a high-performing product management team, including talent development and succession planning

While sales and marketing teams need access to customer data to stay competitive, this information is often scattered around multiple difficult-to-access systems both inside and outside the company. 6sense exists to solve this problem, using AI to bring together disparate data sources such as internal CRMs and social media signals to give sales teams all the information they need in one place.

While other companies have attempted to tackle this problem, 6sense stands out with its ability to provide a complete picture of a company and the leads to pursue within it. This allows teams to accurately prioritise accounts that are most likely to buy, greatly increasing conversion rates and sales figures. This has led to it being taken up by major enterprises including Dell Technologies, Shell and Cisco, to name a few.

6sense has raised a large amount of capital over multiple funding rounds and now has a $5.2 billion valuation. The company remains focused on research and development to maintain its market lead and is working to improve its AI's predictive, insight, and orchestration capabilities. At the end of 2023, it launched a LinkedIn integration that allowed 6Sense customers to launch targeted LinkedIn marketing campaigns through its AI platform.
