Who you are

  • The ideal candidate is adept at putting themselves in the customer's shoes and thrives on working with data, displaying a natural tendency towards analytical thinking
  • An in depth understanding of online advertising infrastructure and ecosystem. Comprehensive knowledge of different ad-serving processes and the programmatic landscape (3+ years)
  • Excellent communication skills with 3+ years of experience with both technical and business audiences
  • A highly analytical Master of MS-Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, functions, etc.) and proficient at SQL – you will be required to use both on a daily basis
  • Working knowledge of HTML/JS/Dev tools capable of mapping and identifying elements as needed – nice to have
  • Process-oriented with the ability to actively drive problems to resolution and concisely provide relevant information to management
  • Experience with presentations and effectively telling clients actionable stories, based on analysis of vast data sets and an in depth understanding of client’s processes and pain points
  • Impeccable organizational and time management skills, proactiveness, multitasking and prioritization capabilities. All these skills will need to be applied to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
  • A critical thinker that enjoys the process of continuous learning and improvement
  • Be at ease speaking to people from a commercial, business as well as technical background. Be able to provide each type of stakeholder with the value they need
  • Experience in a Startup /dynamic environment

What the job involves

  • We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Senior Account Manager with a positive and proactive mindset, and a genuine passion for understanding customer needs
  • The Senior Account Manager plays a pivotal role in leveraging their analytics expertise to support clients in efficiently utilizing our verification suite and features, while also providing strategic insights and actionable recommendations
  • They ensure a thorough understanding of how our data impacts client KPIs, effectively communicating how our product addresses their needs or capitalizes on opportunities
  • Additionally, they assist in product planning and implementation across different workflows and handle any technical issues related to detection, integration, and analytics, ensuring seamless client experience
  • Become a subject matter on verification: analytics, detection and mitigation of issues caused by fraud and other types of low traffic quality
  • Communicate with clients and prospects daily, helping them efficiently and effectively answer their technical and operational needs
  • Conduct meetings with our clients to review performance, provide insights and help them extract maximum value from our platform
  • Ensure that technical and business-related issues are handled quickly and appropriately
  • Apply your data analytics skills to help our clients optimize their strategic and tactical decision making
  • Manage your time and other resources strategically, ability to self-prioritize in a way that’s optimal to achieving company goals
  • Be comfortable and occasionally need to assist (hands-on) with producing verification integration-scripts, wrapping tags, using and assigning macros, etc
  • Promote a client-empowering culture – we want our clients to become proficient at understanding verification data. You will give them the tools and training to accomplish this
  • Work closely with customers as their primary point of contact for feedback and resolution of issues. Be the customers’ advocate for issues that require assistance from PM Engineering and R&D

Our take

Advertising used to be a simple process, with campaign formats existing of TV, print, and out-of-home, but the increased variety of digital devices these days has resulted in a demand for omnichannel advertisement. This is not only complicated due to needing to customize content for CTV, mobile, and other emerging content formats, but also because each campaign must be managed, financed, and analyzed for success.

Mediaocean provides an omnichannel advertisement management platform that facilitates the management of advertisement media buying for any format. In addition to media management, the platform also includes data analysis tools for the optimization of campaign success and a media accounting dashboard for the management of advertisement financing.

Whilst new omnichannel advertisement platforms are appearing regularly, Mediaocean stands out with its end-to-end approach, as opposed to focussing on media buying, accounting, or data analysis like most competitors. Furthermore, whilst users can access Mediaocean's solutions through its unified platform, the company also provides APIs to allow for integrations with other advertising workflows and platforms.

Underscoring this end-to-end approach is Mediaocean's acquisition of Innovid in 2024. This will further expand Mediaocean's reach, as it merges its acquisition with another omnichannel business - Flashtalk - that it purchased in 2021. This portfolio merging will increase the control and choice advertisers have over data and decisions as to where ad spend goes.
