What the job involves

  • In this role, you will facilitate the usage of Amazon's logistics capabilities to service their customers' needs
  • Identify, prospect and secure new business opportunities for Amazon Shipping
  • Work with other sales team members to ensure opportunities are understood and next steps are clearly defined via discovery and qualification calls
  • Utilize product knowledge and internal resources to leverage technical skill sets to understand customers' needs
  • Support the sales team in building the lead and pipeline
  • Accurately track activity and develop pipeline using a CRM (Salesforce)
  • Leverage self-service reporting tools to provide pipeline visibility and analytics
  • As an Amazon Shipping Sales Representative, your primary responsibility is to identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Key duties include qualifying leads, communicating Amazon Shipping's value proposition, and meeting ambitious commercial goals by converting qualified leads into new customers
  • You will also support the sales team's pipeline growth and guide self-service shippers through the registration process

On top of this, the company's e-commerce division is facing profitability problems despite its 2023 post-IPO debt funding of 8 billion. It will need to find new ways to stay above their competitors.
