Company mission

To modernise the world of incentive compensation in the hope that people will feel more connected at work if there is greater transparency in how they are rewarded for their efforts.

Role

Who you are

  • 3-5 years of SaaS product marketing experience and have a proven track record of working effectively with sales, marketing, and product teams
  • Proven ability to develop, test, and refine positioning and messaging
  • Experience launching products and features, with an emphasis on building awareness and generating leads
  • An excellent communicator with a knack for communicating complex, technical concepts in simple terms
  • Experience working directly with customers and serving as the voice of customers within an organization
  • An ownership mindset and the demonstrated ability to autonomously own projects from strategy through to execution
  • The right blend of a data-driven strategy paired with a bias toward action

What the job involves

  • This is an exciting opportunity to help build a world class product marketing team at CaptivateIQ. We’re currently a small but mighty team and are looking for a full stack product marketer who will impact the entire go-to-market funnel; from our persona strategy, to campaign messaging to competitive win rates
  • As a member of the product marketing team, you’ll serve as the voice of the customer and market, identifying, analyzing and executing on opportunities in partnership with our sales, marketing and product teams
  • You’ll own product and feature launches and develop, test and refine our personas, positioning and messaging across the buyer journey while building out product marketing processes and metrics
  • Lastly, you’ll serve as a conduit between CaptivateIQ and our prospect and customer base; evangelizing CaptivateIQ, building relationships and capturing and sharing CaptivateIQ’s impact
  • Be an in-house expert on our product and the market; maintaining and sharing a deep understanding of market problems and opportunities and how our product solves them
  • Create, test, and iterate on differentiated messaging and positioning across the buyer journey
  • Be an evangelist and thought leader for CIQ; informing and publishing thought leadership, supporting prospect/customer calls, analyst inquiries, and presenting at events
  • Lead product and feature launches; building out repeatable processes to make a big splash, with lower effort
  • Partner with our marketing team to develop case studies, website content, and assets that support the buyer journey
  • Partner with sales on analyzing and boosting conversion rates across the sales funnel with compelling messaging, assets, and enablement
  • Track and measure key metrics to understand the impact of our GTM efforts and uncover new opportunities

Our take

CaptivateIQ is an incentive compensation platform using AI to automate commission workflows, potentially helping companies make savings on the $800 billion spent each year to manage commission processes. Its no-code SaaS should improve both the efficiency and accuracy of existing legacy processes, providing a much-needed tech overhaul to the sector.

The founding team has real experience with the often over-complicated and cumbersome process of managing commission payments and is joining a raft of companies like UiPath and Celonis in capitalizing on the need to automate sales and finance workflows. CaptivateIQ, founded in 2017, has seen an impressive 600% year-over-year growth and is used by big-name clients like Hopin and ClassPass, attracting healthy investment. This suggests the company is laying firm groundwork in a growing and promising industry.

CaptivateIQ has been smart to keep the platform general enough to apply to any organization needing a performance-based compensation plan. The company's broad customer acquisition and regular funding injections paired with the need for new, robust incentive programmes for scattered and remote workforces has helped CaptivateIQ reach Unicorn status.
