Who you are

  • We are seeking a strategic and action-oriented marketing leader to build our provider marketing team from the ground up
  • This role has an exciting mix of B2B marketing elements like lead generation and performance marketing elements like search marketing and programmatic job board posting so the ideal candidate is a well-rounded marketer who has driven results in those areas, is excited about building something, and has the exceptional leadership skills needed to develop and grow a team
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing
  • 4+ years of experience in a leadership people manager role with experience building a team from scratch
  • 3+ years of marketing experience in B2B marketing (lead generation, demand generation)
  • 3+ years of marketing experience in digital performance marketing (SEM, Job Boards)
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally with sales and operations teams
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen
  • Proven experience developing and executing a marketing strategy

What the job involves

  • In this role, you’ll develop the strategy to acquire and retain mental health providers, build the capabilities needed to execute your strategy, and then bring it to life!
  • We have some programs in flight already but need a leader to bring those programs together and launch new ones under a strategy that we can use to accelerate growth
  • We are in growth mode with a big focus on acquisition!
  • You’ll work closely with provider strategy & operations to ensure we have a complete go-to-market approach and that our providers have a delightful experience from the moment they learn about Rula

Our take

More than half of adults in the US will be diagnosed with a mental illness during their lifetime, and yet inaccessibility of treatment remains a huge problem. That’s what Rula aims to solve, with its platform that matches users to therapists that are covered by their insurance.

The company, formerly known as Path, is partnered with a number of major health insurers, including UnitedHealthcare and Anthem, making it an accessible service for millions of Americans. It allows users to browse therapists almost instantly, with just a short questionnaire to fill in before their matches are shown.

Though the market for tech services offering mental health provision is an overstuffed one, containing giants like BetterHelp as well as newer competitors, Rula's partnerships with insurers do mark it out against the crowd. The business has been steadily growing, and significantly bolstered its executive team in 2023. Its recent rebrand was designed to emphasize its vision to improve not only access to mental health care, but also clinical outcomes.
