Role

Who you are

  • Two or more years experience in a CRM role
  • Experience working with HTML and CSS is essential. This could be the ability to code emails from scratch or just edit and troubleshoot existing emails
  • Comfortable working with data to understand and communicate the impact of your work
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • You love having diversity in your role and have the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at once
  • Have a desire to work closely with tech teams to form a basic understanding of the backend infrastructure that supports our CRM systems
  • Have an inquisitive mind, keen to lift the lid on current processes and see how we can improve

What the job involves

  • We’re looking for a CRM Executive who is excited by the opportunity to drive measurable improvements to our CRM strategy
  • This role will report directly to our Senior CRM Manager
  • Plan and implement actionable and value-adding improvements to our CRM approach. This could mean anything from designing and testing a new customer journey, to helping launch new products or services
  • Work closely with our dedicated tech team to improve our CRM systems and troubleshoot any issues. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your own understanding of the backend side of the CRM technical infrastructure. iwoca’s CRM system was built in-house, and has been developed and adapted over the years to provide the functionality that is needed to issue and manage effective customer comms; you’ll play a key role in determining how it should evolve in future
  • Work with the Senior CRM Manager to plan the calendar of one-off sends. Each month you’ll identify key opportunities and reach out to the hundreds of thousands of small businesses we have in our database
  • Have access to a skilled analytics team, who you’ll work with to run tests which will help to determine the value of the CRM changes that you wish to implement
  • Regularly meet with the operations teams to make sure their catalogue of emails, SMS and letters are fit for purpose and optimised. As iwoca launches new products or features for our customers, you’ll provide essential support to the operations teams to ensure our emails are up to date, relevant and impactful

Application process

  • We’re open-minded, so definitely include your salary goals with your application

Our take

UK SMEs are the backbone of a complex economy that is constantly changing, so the need for fast and responsive access to finance is becoming more and more important to ensure their success and growth. iwoca allows SMEs access to business loans in less than a minute, with its API and business marketplace partnerships.

With offerings like iwoca's, gone are the days where waiting up to eight weeks for a loan decision was viable. Its simplified business loans of £1,000 - £500,000 come with no fees attached, and applying online takes no more than five minutes. The ready availability of iwoca loans gives business owners a level of certainty, so that they can make instant decisions to help their business grow.

iwoca has made a number of partnerships with other players in the business finance space, including an impressive industry-first invoice checkout integration with QuickBooks. Funding raised by the company, which is now operating at net profitability, will enable it to meet a recent surge in demand for corporate loans and offer more to larger SMB businesses. And the company has made several billion in funding available to over 100,000 businesses since launching, positioning itself as a leading European fintech.
