nCino's mission is to transform the financial services industry through innovation, reputation and speed.
Sam Franklin
CEO of Otta
nCino offers financial institutions an end-to-end cloud-based operating system. This allows them to streamline interactions between customers and staff, speeding up onboarding, transactions, credit and loan management, and reporting – integrating with the bank’s core systems rather than supplanting them.
nCino’s trajectory since first launching in a community bank in North Carolina in 2012 has been extraordinary. The company has in the region of 2,000 customers globally, an employee headcount in the thousands, and went public in 2020. Indeed, despite the tough time that fintech stock has been going through of late, nCino’s performance has remained strong despite a 7% cut in workforce, indicating sound decision-making along the way.
In a bid to speed up loan underwriting, nCino partnered with Codat, the API for small business data. nCino has also expanded its presence in the global south, signing deals with major banks in Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
