Role
Who you are
- Experience developing non-trivial Android Apps that have been released in the Play Store
- Well versed in Kotlin and associated Design Patterns
- Solid understanding of Android UI Toolkit best practices, memory management, and experience with constraints and motion layouts, and fragment stack management
- Solid understanding of software engineering
- Experience with Continuous Integration and distributed version control systems (Git)
- Good knowledge of web technologies and paradigms (JSON, Ajax, AMF, HTTP, REST)
Desirable
- Professional experience with Jetpack Compose
- A knowledge and understanding of concurrent programming
- Working understanding of profiling and automation tools
What the job involves
- Deliver and maintain new and existing Apps using Kotlin and Android UI Toolkit/Jetpackl
- Support your team to meet sprint commitments
- Ensure that impediments of any kind are escalated, and long-term solutions pursued
- Look to improve the codebase and performance of the applications
- Delivery high quality well tested software that meets agreed requirements
- Promote best software development practices
- Collaborate with other developers, testers, and other teams working on front-end/back-end tasks
- Promote agile practices/SCRUM
