Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in front end web development
- Strong proficiency in modern front end web development frameworks such as Node JS and React, VueJS, or AngularJS
- Experience with CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Understanding of web development best practices, including performance optimization, accessibility, and security
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Desirable
- Experience with front end testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, or Cypress
- Experience with build tools such as Webpack or Rollup
- Experience with server-side rendering and SEO optimization
- Experience with CSS-in-JS solutions such as Styled Components or Emotion
- Experience with GraphQL or RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
What the job involves
- Collaborate with product and design teams to create user interfaces that meet user requirements and business needs
- Develop new user-facing features using modern web development techniques such as ReactJS, VueJS, or AngularJS
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using best practices in software development
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate the front end with the back end
- Ensure that web applications are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities
- Stay up-to-date with emerging front end technologies and industry trends
