Role
Who you are
- Fluent Dutch and English / German – would be appreciated, but not mandatory
- Degree in Business Management or Accounting or similar
- An advanced level of Excel knowledge is required
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Ability to work effectively as an individual and as a team member
- Experience with Workday is a plus
What the job involves
- Be responsible for, and contribute to the maintenance and preparation of in-house payrolls for all functions (including but not limited to keeping track of wages, deductions, compensation benefit rates, calculating salaries and taxes, payroll data uploads)
- Perform data validations on payroll output/reports and resolve discrepancies within tight deadlines
- Understand Dutch and Belgium taxation and social security calculations of employer paid benefits and compensations
- Provide information to employees, managers, and external stakeholders regarding payroll matters, benefit plans and collective agreement provisions
- Manage relationships with various third parties such as tax offices, pension providers, etc
- Provide payroll feedback and data when required to support ongoing HR projects
