Role
Who you are
- 4+ years of relevant software development or DevOps/Operations experience in a SaaS or Software entity
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, ELB, RDS, SQS, Route53, Cloud Watch, ECR
- Solid experience with Terraform Solid understanding of AWS networking, network security, load balancers, TCP/IP
- Working knowledge of security standards and best practices
- Ability to define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems
What the job involves
- You’ll be responsible for improving our core infrastructure and architecting it to a level that can scale to serve millions of users
- Build and improve our CI/CD pipelines (GH Actions)
- Lead the technical evaluation and selection process for improving performance, monitoring, gap analysis, predicting trends for system performance, capacity, efficiency, and reliability and recommend enhancements in order to better meet client SLAs and standards
- Strong ownership with a sense of urgency, and drive to launch services
- You will be responsible for the design, implementation and quality of services you deliver

In a bid to increase engagement, as well as monetization opportunities for broadcasters, Sports Buff allows them to insert interactive graphics such as game stats, polls, predictions, and quizzes into live streams.
Launched in 2019 by major sports media veteran Jonty Whitehead and serial sports tech entrepreneur Benn Achilleas, the company is growing impressively, already working with a number of major broadcasters including Major League Soccer (MLS), DAZN, and Fox Sports Australia, while its investors also include the owners of English Premier League Clubs Brentford and Southampton.
