Who you are

  • You have a solid background of 6+ years in motion graphics design experience, preferably in tech-focused or product-driven companies
  • Experience in creating dynamic presentations and motion assets for live events, virtual experiences, large-scale conferences, trade shows, and various immersive experiences for leading brands
  • You're a seasoned expert in using various motion tools and software, such as but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite, and Cinema 4D
  • You demonstrate a strong capability to work independently while also being able to guide contractors and agencies to ensure top-tier results

What the job involves

  • You will be joining a growing design team and discipline responsible for creating experiences for our internal and external events, as well as Stripe’s offices
  • Conceptualize, design, and create high-quality 2d and 3d motion graphics for a variety of events, both internal and external
  • Work with a wide range of digital tools and software to develop dynamic and interactive visuals for live events and presentations
  • Execute real-life, digital, and immersive experiences that illuminate Stripe’s brand and product stories
  • Collaborate with other designers, producers, marketers, and stakeholders to create visually stunning motion work that resonate globally
  • Serve as a go-to expert for motion-graphics, providing guidance and direction to external agencies and independent contractors in strategy, execution, and production

Our take

Stripe, nowadays a FinTech giant, spent the first few years since its founding building up its payments business, which primarily consisted of providing an API to eCommerce businesses so that they could easily integrate a payments option in their apps or websites, where before there was none.

More recently, Stripe has started to accelerate its growth with a significantly larger range of financial services including cash advances and credit cards. They also plan to build incorporation services, fraud protection, and more, diversifying its revenue away from payments and differentiating itself from its competitors.

To further expand its position, the company is looking to triple its presence in Ireland, and extend its services to countries with vast customer potential, including Brazil and India. Its latest venture, coming atop significant new funds, is to partner with OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT - a win-win collaboration that will monetize OpenAI’s flagship products and at the same time enhance Stripe with GPT-4, as it moves forwards with intentions to "build the payments foundation for tomorrow's AI economy."
