Who you are

  • This is an important role in the business that requires an aptitude for leadership, more than 3 years of varied marketing experience, excellent campaign management skills and a good understanding of best practice around all aspects of marketing
  • Excellent campaign planning, management and execution skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and a good understanding of best practice
  • Experience in first line management (as either a supervisor or team supervisor)
  • Flexible approach, good at prioritising, reporting KPIs and learning from them
  • Previous experience within a B2B demand generation environment is preferable
  • Good hands-on technical skills, especially with email automation and digital marketing
  • Highly systematic and data driven
  • Desire to truly understand the customer, the products, and new opportunities
  • CRM and marketing automation knowledge and experience (previous experience with Salesforce and Pardot would be an advantage)
  • B2B subscriptions marketing experience in a role with a focus on demand generation
  • Strong understanding of reporting on campaign effectiveness and customer engagement – experience of using Google Analytics would be an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A self-starter, able to work solo and spearhead multiple projects at once autonomously

  • You will work closely with multiple teams across the business (including getting to know the sales team), to identify opportunities with target clients and segments, and to build out nurture and engagement programmes that develop new prospects and leads as well as client marketing
  • As a Marketing Manager, you will be diving into the data to understand trends, and will be a great communicator, happy to speak with sales regularly to understand what is needed for them, their customers and prospective customers
  • Develop and execute innovative and effective demand generation strategies to drive qualified leads and pipeline growth
  • Collaborate with the content and events team on campaign themes and messaging, translating briefs into campaigns that generate leads and build awareness
  • Experiment, test and iterate - examine data and report on performance, advise on data-driven resolutions and continually improve programs and processes to drive pipeline and generate good ROI
  • Working with the various sales teams to communicate activities, get actionable input, evaluate and improve lead quality and develop positive relationships
  • Managing the Social Media & Content Executive to coordinate campaigns and drive engagement
  • Identification of gaps in data and delivering on plans to add relevant new contacts and clean/maintain existing data within campaign segments
  • Use our email marketing platforms and automations (Pardot) to deliver effective direct marketing email campaigns
  • Undertake the creation of email campaigns, including the build of dynamic templates, selection and segmentation of targeted audiences and copywriting
  • Execute strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions across new and existing subscribers through the management of campaigns
  • Build strategic media partnerships including the acquisition and nurturethat generate brand awareness and demand
  • Monitor and regularly report on the effectiveness of all campaign activity within roles. Demonstrate ROI and strategic changes based on data analysis
  • Work closely with the relevant stakeholders to ensure consistent brand messages across all contact points. Share all learnings and insights that drive performances
  • Use market intelligence and customer insight and evaluation to increase understanding of our audiences and effectiveness of marketing campaigns
