  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, particularly within Sales and Go-To-Market functions

What the job involves

  • We're looking for a strategic full-cycle Business Recruiter to join our team and support the scaling of our recruiting function.
  • As the second recruiter on our team, you will play a key role in shaping our overall talent strategy, employer brand, compensation strategy, and the success of our recruiting engine.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of recruiting, with a focus on Sales and GTM functions.
  • You will partner closely with hiring managers and cross-functional teams, acting as a trusted advisor to understand their needs and fill open roles. Your efforts will directly contribute to building high-performing teams and supporting Middesk's ambitious growth
  • Own and manage the entire recruitment process for non-technical roles. Develop effective strategies, source and attract top talent, coordinate interviews, and negotiate offers to secure the best candidates
  • Represent Middesk externally, sharing our story and what makes us a great place to work. You’ll define and ensure an exceptional candidate experience from the first contact through onboarding
  • Proactively maintain a steady flow of qualified candidates for each search, ensuring we meet our hiring needs with a focus on diversity and inclusion
  • Continuously evaluate and improve our recruiting systems and processes, making them more efficient and effective for both candidates and hiring managers
  • Ensure interview panels are well-prepared and deliver a consistent, fair, and exceptional candidate experience. Develop and standardize thoughtful interview processes
  • Collaborate closely with senior leaders to fill strategic roles and support critical talent initiatives, contributing to Middesk’s growth and success

Our take

Middesk helps businesses screen, verify, and run risk and compliance checks on customers and other businesses. The founders developed the business after experiencing first-hand the often laborious process of manual identity verification, a process which has proven a pain point for many businesses historically.

This hands-on experience helped land Middesk seeding from heavyweight investors Sequoia and Accel. The company's focus is on businesses with stringent regulatory risk requirements, with a special focus on businesses involved in financial aspects like credit and payroll. Middesk’s focus on this sector opens them up to a growing, lucrative market as more businesses than ever are demanding services comparable to retail banking, credit unions and community banks.

Testament to the value of their offering is Middesk’s recent partnership with challenger bank tech platform Agora Services. The challenger bank sector is taking off fast too, and if Middesk can establish a strong reputation for servicing this burgeoning industry, they stand to win big.
