Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Qualified Accountant, ACA / ACCA required
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Big 4 experience preferable, with relevant revenue recognition experience
- Excellent quantitative, analytical and data mining skills
- Experience with monthly and quarterly close activities, account reconciliations, problem resolution, audit schedule preparation and working with external and internal auditors
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with a focus on revenue recognition (ASC-606)
- Experience working with SAP and/or Business Objects
- Proficiency in Excel
- Effective communication skills
- Enthusiastic and creative with the ability to inspire, and encourage others, in both relationships with customers and peers
What the job involves
- As a member of this team, you will assist and perform contract deal reviews, help support multiple partners throughout a deal's life cycle and work with your team and other groups to come up with ideal solutions to complex arrangements
- You will report to the revenue accounting manager and work with your manager to ensure accurate revenue reporting under ASC 606
- You will also help reconcile different GL accounts at quarter-end in addition to preparing several ad-hoc analyses when needed

- Perform deal and contract reviews while gaining technical expertise under ASC-606 with detailed documentation of accounting positions
- Work by providing deal support and technical expertise to several of our teams within Deal Desk, Sales, Legal, Premier, and the broader Finance organization
- Prepare quarterly audit schedules and periodic reports to support internal and external reporting requirements
- Work with your Revenue Accounting colleagues and respective partners to maintain SOX Compliance
- Identify and support process improvement projects
- Work on different Revenue Accounting projects
