Role

Who you are

  • 4+ years experience and proven expertise in events marketing, preferably in a start-up, media, tech, or advertising environment
  • Possess a proven track record of executing quality events that have the wow factor and deliver against business objectives
  • Understanding of sales – what drives salespeople, how to communicate with them, and the details of the sales process – and an appreciation for the role that experiential marketing plays in supporting their business and client relationship-building objectives
  • Experience collaborating across multiple marketing channels & disciplines to meet event/campaign goals
  • Superior project management & organizational aptitude, with the ability to manage multiple campaign components effectively and efficiently
  • Strong relationship-building & negotiation skills to ensure that Nexxen receives optimal pricing and value from vendors
  • Penchant for measuring, evaluating, and communicating the success of experiential initiatives
  • Ability to create decks, presentations, budgets, run-of-show documents, etc
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication & presentation skills
  • Experience using event planning, marketing, and project management platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Pardot, SplashTha, Monday.com) is an advantage

What the job involves

  • We are looking for an Experiential Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team
  • Drive the conceptualization, execution and optimization of experiential programs in North America including large-scale industry conferences, local industry events in key markets, bespoke/custom client experiences, and select virtual events & webinars
  • Develop compelling business cases for various event activations, sponsorships & speaking engagements by collecting key information and closely aligning these inputs to our key brand marketing, product & sales objectives & strategies
  • Maintain annual event calendar & budget, while proactively researching new opportunities to expand our experiential footprint
  • Manage all event planning milestones & estimates for project scope, venue sourcing, third-party partners, scheduling and resource requirements
  • Manage external creative agency partner to ensure seamless production and delivery of creative and UX assets for all events
  • Collaborate with communications & digital marketing colleagues to amplify experiential efforts via PR, thought leadership, social media, online advertising, outbound email comms, and the brand website
  • Evolve our experiential initiatives to integrate digital & communications components into our strategy, to amplify and extend the experiences beyond the physical events themselves
  • Coordinate staffing schedules and travel arrangements as needed for larger tentpole activations
  • Manage and empower the Experiential Marketing Coordinator to make meaningful, consistent contributions to the planning and execution of our experiential plans
  • Partner with the brand marketing leads and marketing operations team to ensure successful measurement of ROI is applied to our budget and decision-making practices
  • Work closely and collaboratively with experiential marketing counterparts in the UK and Australia to ensure global strategic alignment and identify operational/executional efficiencies
  • Spearhead the planning and execution of client & employee swag & gifting programs as part of the overall experiential strategy
