Role
Who you are
- The right candidate will have in depth experience with Prometheus, Thanos, Alertmanager, and Grafana
- Dditionally, the candidate will have experience and opinions on how to ensure reliability of platforms that are capable of scraping over 5 TRILLION metric data points per day while running in Kubernetes using these technologies

- Experience with large scale, business-critical Linux environments
- Experience operating in clouds, preferably Amazon Web Services OR Google Cloud
- Experience operating in custom data centers
- Familiarity and ability to manage on call shifts

- Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams
- Rock solid communication skills, verbal and written
- A combination of confidence and independence…with the prudence to know when to ask for help from the rest of the team
- Wider experience with observability tooling including tools like, mimir or cortex
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field, such a CS, CIS or Engineering
