Role

Who you are

  • You have a strong experience in Javascript software development (frontend and backend), React.js, NestJS and Node.js and microservices architecture
  • You have a solid understanding of software fundamentals (Data Structures, Software Architecture, Design Patterns) and cloud architecture
  • You have proficiency on testing, monitoring, and continuous deployment
  • You have some proven hands-on experience with Event-Driven Architecture (EDA)
  • You are comfortable writing technical documentation and specs
  • You have good communication skills and you can adapt your talking points to a non-technical audience
  • You are a team player who strives on sharing knowledge with others
  • You are someone who believes that team collaboration is more valuable than individual progress
  • You are familiar with DDD on architectural part, event-sourcing and CQRS
  • You have experience with Kubernetes, Helm
  • You speak English fluently and you want to work in an international and dynamic environment

What the job involves

  • You will be a senior player for the squad Employee Setup
  • As a Global Team at Payfit, Employee Setup is responsible for the whole Employee and Contract lifecycle management from an HRIS perspective
  • As a Senior Software Engineer at PayFit, you will play a crucial role in building the future of our platform
  • Be part of a product team (Design, Engineering, and Product) to define issues to solve and develop high-value features
  • Drive the evolution of our architecture and system (DDD, system design, event-driven architecture, event sourcing)
  • Promote software development best practices and foster technical excellence (clean code, low-complexity, maintainability, observability, well tested and documented, scalability, security and privacy by design)
  • Own all the areas of the team's projects back-end, front-end and infrastructure
  • Mentor team members and lead cross-functional initiatives
  • You will be part of a Product team with a Product Manager and a Product Designer. There will be 5 other Software Engineers with whom you will collaborate as well as an Engineering Manager who will be your manager
