Role

Who you are

  • 3+ years of experience as a data engineer
  • Advanced knowledge of one or several programming languages
  • SQL & Python proficiency
  • Knowing how to program in a simple and short way (KISS principle)
  • Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed

What the job involves

  • The Data Engineering team is at the core of the scibids product, and is responsible for communication between scibids and its partners
  • All teams need correct and reliable data. We ingest diverse and volumetric data
  • The team also manages outbound communications with partners. We use partner api cross-referenced with a set of business rules to upload models generated by the scibids product
  • As Senior Data Engineer, your role will be to participate in the development of the project and make sure it runs efficiently
  • Creation of ETL jobs to make our partners' data available to other teams. There are several sources of data, for example data from api or files in csv, avro or parquet format with several million rows
  • Contribute to the development of a reverse ETL for uploading scibids models
  • Creation of api and lib to help inter-team communications
  • Reporting to: Manager, Data Engineering

The digital ad space is changing constantly, and DoubleVerify will need to remain as agile and adaptive as it is at present in order to compete with rivals such as Tremor and Quantcast. A 2021 IPO was followed by two rounds of funding and several product releases, including a tiered brand suitability tool as well as key executive hires.
