Role

Who you are

  • 1-3 years in a B2B sales role. Bonus if it's a tech startup or finance facing
  • Demonstrated success in building pipeline and closing deals
  • Familiarity with outbound prospecting and using tools like HubSpot, Apollo, or similar
  • Outstanding communication & listening skills - you can talk both business outcomes and technicals
  • Thrives in a high-growth environment with some ambiguity. No two weeks are the same
  • An interest in finance, fintech and a desire to understand how CFOs and finance leaders think

Desirable

  • Sold software to finance functions (CFOs, VP finance, finance directors)
  • Experience within operational finance or Big4 accounting
  • Ability to develop creative approaches to break into target accounts

What the job involves

  • Hybrid BDR / AE role. You'll be expected to generate leads and take them through the sales cycle
  • Build pipeline: Engage with CFOs & finance leaders to book meetings and introduce Light
  • Discovery excellence: Find the pain behind the pain in prospects' current finance operations
  • Collaborative sales: Partner with product, solution engineers, and leadership to craft tailored proposals & business cases
  • Close deals and generate revenue! We have huge ARR targets for 2025 and we want you to be a part of it
  • Iterate and Improve: Refine outreach strategies, sales techniques, and processes to drive results. Be a proactive voice in shaping how we sell
