Our take

The telecommunications landscape is changing rapidly, as more companies migrate from traditional telephone communication to digital conferencing platforms and instant messaging. However, existing digital communication platforms usually come with connection issues, and combating this through bespoke solutions comes with employing expensive software engineers.

Telnyx develops cloud-based Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services for enterprises in the form of APIs, providing tools for the rapid development of bespoke applications for SMS and MMS messaging, WhatsApp communication, voice calls, IoT communications and verification, and elastic SIP trunking. The company claims that it ensures high speeds, reduced latency, and flawless connections through its tier-1 interconnections with major global internet hubs.

Whilst many other startups are providing VoIP solutions, Telnyx has taken a unique approach by developing APIs that allow enterprises to design their own next-gen digital communication service. This is complemented by the company’s tier-1 interconnects, detailed API documentation, and integrated dashboard, ultimately providing an end-to-end solution for cutting-edge wireless communications.
