Who you are

  • You don’t need to be in love with cars (although it is a bonus!), but you do need to be passionate getting under the skin of the automotive industry, thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly and take pride in producing best-in-class work
  • 4+ years in a similar events or marketing role
  • Strong project management and event experience with a bias for action
  • Close working relationships across the whole business particularly the media and marketing teams
  • Ability to influence and enthusiasm required to handle daily deadlines, combined with a calm and can-do attitude
  • Budget management skills with a strong attention to detail, even under time pressure
  • Passion, drive and a can-do approach
  • The ability to visualise strategy and GTM plans in clear, accurate and creative ways
  • Strong understanding of Excel / Google Sheets

What the job involves

  • This brilliant new role sits in the growing Brand & Comms department and reports to the Head of Brand
  • We are a small but mighty team, working across all titles within the Carwow Group; Carwow, Auto Express, evo, Car Buyer and Driving Electric
  • We exist to build fame for our all our Carwow brands, creating campaigns, events stories and experiences that give drivers total car confidence, building awareness and affinity for all brands within the Group
  • This role presents the opportunity to take to market the incredible range of events across the Carwow Group portfolio, including track days, industry awards, digital days and consumer events
  • This new role will be responsible for taking our events to market, creating comprehensive marketing plans and collateral and working closely with our Brand Solutions team to deliver the experiences themselves
  • Whether that’s creating test drive day for thousands of fans, racing super cars or gathering the industry’s best and brightest, this role is pivotal in driving our growing events offering and team
  • Work with the Brand & Commercial teams to develop and execute the overall event strategy for brand-led events, aligned with the marketing goals and objectives
  • Project manage our key Brand events planning and managing a calendar of Carwow Group wide events, including consumer exhibitions, trade shows, corporate conferences, webinars, product launches and sponsored events
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote all Carwow Group events across all channels, working closely with the Brand Creative, Brand Solutions and Content teams to create compelling event collateral, invitations, and promotional content
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all event communications
  • Drive event registration and attendance through targeted campaigns and outreach
  • Manage event vendors and external partners, ensuring deliverables are met according to timelines and budget
  • Coordinate the production of event marketing materials such as signage, presentations, brochures, and promotional items
  • Analyze and report on the performance of each event, using metrics such as attendance, engagement, lead generation, and ROI
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from attendees, stakeholders, and team members to improve future events
  • Coordinate follow-up activities post-event, such as surveys, thank-you emails, and lead nurturing campaigns
