Role
Who you are
- Experience building and growing a strong team
- Hands on coding experience
- Knowledge of systems at scale and large-scale distributed infrastructure
- 4+ years in engineering management.
- Customer, team, and quality oriented skills
- Assisted engineering teams on scalable design and implementation of their services in respect to infrastructure tiers such as orchestration and service discovery
- Experience running SRE teams
- You Are:
- A leader: you can lead teams and creating a culture of problem solving through large scale engineering
- Hands-On-Keyboard: in addition to being a leader, you have strong technical skills and can lead your team to achieve the team's objectives
- A planner: You are adept at project management skills and strategic planning through roadmaps and well scoped delivery plans
What the job involves
- Be responsible for working with cross-functional product partners and uplevel Reliability
- Have more hands on involvement with production and understanding key trends and insights
- Be responsible for building production guardrails for services to use & scale reliably
- Care deeply about production health
- Report to the Director of Reliability Engineering
