Role
Who you are
- You have a Master's degree in accounting or a DSCG, and at least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- You have a strong ability to adapt, especially in terms of accounting software
- You have advanced Excel/Gsheet skills
- You are rigorous, organized and you know how to show discretion
- You like challenges, working in a team and evolving in a fast growing environment
- You have good command in both written and spoken English
- Ideally, you have already worked in a start-up company
- In-depth knowledge of transfer pricing and international taxation is a real plus
What the job involves
- We're looking for a passionate financial expert to take charge of our accounting operations, ensuring precision, compliance, and financial insight to fuel our growth journey
- You will work in close collaboration with all the teams of the company and will report directly to our Head of Finance
- Depending on your development ambitions and those of the company, you will also have the opportunity to oversee the proper bookkeeping of our US subsidiary and the group's financial consolidation

- Florian, FinOps Manager
- Thomas, FP&A Manager
- Yohann, Head of Finance
- Recurring support from External Accounting firm (ACL)
- Daily Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance
- Financial Maestro: Perform month-end and annual closing activities, ensuring alignment with French GAAP
- AP/AR Wizardry: Oversee the full accounts payable and receivable cycles, ensuring every transaction is timely and accurate
- Tax Savvy: Navigate the complexities of tax regulations, including VAT and corporate income tax filings
- Audit Liaison: Lead the charge on external audits, implementing improvements based on findings
- Financial Sentinel: Develop and enforce robust internal controls and accounting policies to protect our assets
- System Innovator: Identify and implement enhancements to our accounting systems and processes, leveraging the latest technology for efficiency gains
- Strategic Partner: Work closely with various departments to support their business initiatives
- Regulatory Expert: Stay ahead of accounting standards and regulations changes, ensuring our financial practices are always compliant
- Global Reach: Depending on your development ambitions and those of the company, oversee the proper bookkeeping of our US subsidiary and the group's financial consolidation

GitGuardian has become 100,000s of developers’ wingman in identifying these secrets in real time, securing enterprise software with bottom-up adoption.
The startup has also built from its secret detection expertise and extended its technology to encode a wide variety of vulnerabilities to compete with legacy code security platforms. In 2021, GitGuardian raised an impressive $44 million in order to accelerate this innovation.
So far, GitGuardian’s laser-sharp focus on secret detection has allowed it to carve out a lucrative niche, but the expansion of its technology will bring it into direct competition with well-established cyber security giants. The company is gathering momentum, however, and is likely to scale in line with its technology in the coming years.
