Company mission

To give small business owners a great experience while getting the finance they need.

Role

Who you are

  • We’re looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to drive measurable improvements to our CRM strategy, working closely with our tech and data analysis teams
  • With all this growth, we’re looking for people who want to learn on the job and lead projects, knowing that your ideas will impact thousands of small businesses
  • Two or more years experience in a CRM role
  • Strong copywriting abilities across both marketing and service communications
  • Experience working with HTML and CSS. This could be the ability to code emails from scratch or just edit and troubleshoot existing emails
  • Comfortable working with data to understand and communicate the impact of your work
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • You love having diversity in your role and have the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at once
  • Have a desire to work closely with tech teams to form a basic understanding of the backend infrastructure that supports our CRM systems
  • Have an inquisitive mind and strategic mindset, keen to lift the lid on current processes and see how we can improve

What the job involves

  • Plan and implement actionable and value-adding improvements to our CRM approach. This could mean anything from designing and testing a new customer journey, to helping launch new products or services
  • Write emails, letters and SMS communications using our company tone of voice to communicate clearly with our customers
  • Work closely with our dedicated tech team to improve our CRM systems. iwoca’s CRM system was built in-house, and has been developed and adapted over the years to provide the functionality that is needed to issue and manage effective customer comms; you’ll play a key role in determining how it should evolve in future
  • Work with the Senior CRM Manager to plan the calendar of marketing sends. Each month you’ll identify key opportunities and reach out to the hundreds of thousands of small businesses we have in our database
  • Approach your work with a testing mindset, designing and analysing split tests with your manager. For the more complex cases, you will have access to a skilled analytics team, who can help you really determine the value of the CRM changes that you wish to implement
  • Manage incoming requests from around the business to make sure our catalogue of emails, SMS and letters are optimised. As iwoca launches new features for our customers, you’ll provide essential support to the operations teams to ensure our emails are relevant and impactful

Our take

UK SME's are the backbone of a complex economy that is constantly changing, so the need for fast and responsive access to finance is becoming more and more important to ensure their success and growth. iwoca allows SMEs access to business loans in less than a minute, with its API and business marketplace partnerships.

With offerings like iwoca's, gone are the days where waiting up to eight weeks for a loan decision was viable. Its simplified business loans of £1,000 - £500,000 come with no fees attached, and applying online takes no more than five minutes. The ready availability of iwoca loans gives business owners a level of certainty, so that they can make instant decisions to help their business grow.

iwoca has made a number of partnerships with other players in the business finance space, including an impressive industry-first invoice checkout integration with QuickBooks. Funding raised by the company, which is now operating at net profitability, will enable it to meet a recent surge in demand for corporate loans. The company has made several billion in funding available to over 100,000 businesses since launching, positioning itself as a leading European fintech.

Company values

  • Motivated: Going to work shouldn't feel like a slog, so we want everyone in the team to personally care about what they're working on. We stay motivated by celebrating our wins, learning from our mistakes, and always looking for new gaps to step into.
  • Smart: At iwoca being smart isn't about what you know, it's about how you think. Smart thinking means looking at each problem by asking ‘why’ first, then figuring out ‘how’.
  • Humble: We know all ideas are flawed, all code has bugs, and everyone makes mistakes - it’s how we learn. For us, being humble means you question yourself first, rather than your team.
  • Growth Mindset: We think there's always a better way to solve a problem. So we never let ourselves get comfortable with being good enough.
