Role

Who you are

  • At least 2 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced tech environment
  • Strong sourcing and networking skills, with the ability to identify and engage passive candidates
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with candidates and hiring managers
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools and technologies. Experience using Workday would be a huge plus
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information

What the job involves

  • Fixed Term Contract- May through December 2025
  • The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to drive MiQ's success
  • This role ensures a quality candidate experience, guiding them through the full recruitment process
  • This role collaborates with hiring managers across various departments to understand their talent needs and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates
  • Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals, to source and attract qualified candidates for open positions
  • Develop sourcing strategies that produce a continuous, highly qualified pipeline of professionals for all departments at MiQ for current and future hiring needs
  • Ensures a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely communication, feedback, and support
  • Ensures interview, selection, and closing procedures are adhered to and consistent across searches
  • Audits feedback and inputs from interview panels, ensuring completion and quality
  • Keeps ATS up-to-date with most recent candidate information and status in process
  • Promote MiQ as an employer of choice by effectively communicating its culture, values, and opportunities for growth and development
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their requirements and develop recruitment strategies tailored to their needs. Provide support throughout the hiring process, including job descriptions, identifying interview panels, and scheduling interviews
  • Coordinate multiple stakeholders at once and multiple interview stages
  • Partners with other Talent Leads and the Global TA team to create a dynamic community of practice across all of MiQ hiring
  • Track key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, and candidate quality
  • Assist in generating reports and provide insights on recruitment trends and areas for improvement
