Business Intelligence Analyst, Jellyvision

• 4+ years of experience working with data and relational databases
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and quickly shift between tasks
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL, DBT, and LookML
• Familiarity with our presentation tool: Looker
• Analytical mindset with a passion for identifying insights and business opportunities

Desirable

• As a BI Analyst at Jellyvision, you will help the business leverage data to support teams across the organization
• You will provide ad-hoc analysis, long-term reporting, and data-driven insights to key stakeholders in Sales, Account Management, Product, Marketing, and Operations
• You’ll collaborate closely with Data Engineering to enhance our enterprise data capabilities and solve complex business problems
• Create reports, visualizations, and dashboards in Looker for internal teams and customer reporting
• Design and maintain robust data models (DBT and LookML) and transform raw data into analytics-ready formats
• Work with data from multiple sources: Salesforce, Product Events, Postgres databases, and API artifacts
• Standardize data definitions and reporting across Looker
• Maintain data documentation and business metric definitions
• Proactively identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and insights
• We’ll measure success with a reduced number of repeat requests and less reactive/fix requests
• Learn the needs of internal stakeholders and deliver ad-hoc analytics and strategic insights
• Partner with Engineering and Product on API product data pipelines
• Train business users on data visualization tools and self-service reporting
• Support and respond to questions from business stakeholders in our #ask-analytics channel
• We'll measure success through performance reviews and assessing feedback from peers and stakeholders, and sentiment analysis of our ask-analytics slack channel
