• The Senior Accountant at Solutions by Text is a key role responsible for overseeing financial activities and ensuring accuracy and compliance
• This position involves vendor invoice and payment processing, financial statement preparation, general ledger maintenance, financial audit schedule preparation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• In this role, you will:
• Assist in ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing and reporting, in compliance with US GAAP
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis for month-end close
• Perform monthly financial closing activities including preparing commentaries for variance analysis as requested
• Prepare financial analyses and reports as needed
• Primary responsibilities for the Company’s accounts payable processes including:
• Facilitating invoice and payment processing to ensure timely completion and accuracy as well as adherence to documented Company policies and processes
• Assist in managing vendor relationships and responding to inquiries from both vendors and internal clients
• Oversee the monthly accounts payable close procedures, including accrual journal entries, GL account reconciliations, and transaction uploads to NetSuite
• Liaise with external auditors when required
• Conduct research to resolve vendor, employee, or client inquiries accurately
• Assist with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects as requested by the CFO
