Role
Who you are
- You have 2/3 years’ commercial experience in running large scale web applications on AWS
- You are an advocate of automation, who enjoys working in an agile environment
- You have knowledge of architecture and in cloud computing, specifically AWS
- You have experience with Networking and Security on AWS : VPC, Security Groups, IAM, VPN
- You are experienced with: CI/CD, pipelines, AWS, kubernetes, terraform and telemetry
- You have good experience and knowledge of security within a platform and technical environment
- You are familiar with Networking, Argo, Helm and automation tests
- You have any of these bonus qualifications: New Relic, MongoDB and redis

What the job involves
- Our Platform Team lays the foundations for everything we do in the tech-space, from deploying and maintaining the infrastructure we run on, through to enabling our tech team to release updates multiple times a day. We’re looking for a Platform Engineer who enjoys working in a start-up business and thrives in a fast moving environment to join the team!
- Partnering with senior engineers and tech leaders to develop and deliver secure solutions for development environments, automated QA, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, telemetry, DR
- Working with the engineering teams to identify and help reduce toil by automating tasks
- Tracking and reporting metrics like Uptime, MTBF, MTTR
- Owning the telemetry solution and working with the engineering team to have the right level of monitoring and alerting for each component
- Championing platform improvements
- Keeping technical stack completely up to date
- Creating and driving the platform roadmap
