Who you are

  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field
  • Industry experience is beneficial
  • Fluent in English
  • Understanding of data warehouse and data mining
  • Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Qlik, Tableau)
  • Knowledge of SQL is required and Python is a plus

What the job involves

  • The Sr Strategic Analytics Manager professional will play a critical role in supporting the growth of Consumer Affairs
  • This role is a hybrid of traditional jobs in strategic planning, sales & marketing strategy, business operations, analysis, & reporting
  • This role will be responsible for the daily data aggregation, data health, analysis, and reporting used to power the sales and marketing organizations, Sample projects include developing strategic presentations for partner conversations, creating models for pricing recommendations, evaluating growth opportunities, business planning and regular review of key performance metrics
  • The deliverables include developing analytics strategy, building deep analytical models, web performance analysis, marketing mix modeling, and packaging findings into presentation-ready content for sales & marketing leadership
  • The successful candidate will have relentless curiosity and possess a passion for creating innovative analysis to identify opportunities and building a sustainable data structure to support the analysis
  • Moreover, this person will excel at extracting insights from data and converting ideas to action
  • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the vertical to influence and set strategy
  • Serve as an integral strategic planning participant for the company and an essential internal resource for sales and marketing leadership on all analytics needs
  • Develop unique knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing segments by providing expert knowledge on historical, current and predictive views of sales and marketing metrics to key stakeholders
  • Proactively diagnose the analytics requirements of the sales and marketing organizations; design and deliver processes and metrics
  • Provide thought leadership on the application and usage data models and reporting to accomplish business objectives
  • Understand the underlying data architecture supporting marketing and sales and how to use it to report on business performance
  • Identify and optimize the true drivers of financial performance, productivity, web performance and other metrics
  • Assist in developing and delivering presentations for partner conversations
  • Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
  • Within the first year, become the authoritative leader and expert in analytics for the designated sectors, recognized for providing essential analytical support and strategic guidance
  • Proactively deliver comprehensive analyses that drive significant growth within the supported categories. Develop and implement strategies to close coverage gaps and optimize business processes, thereby boosting efficiency and profitability
