Who you are

  • You thrive in a fast paced environment. When you’re prioritising and multi-tasking you’re in your happy place.
  • You can communicate clearly. When you’re working fast and everyone else is too you can explain things clearly, communicate issues and roadblocks so that people can help you
  • You're kind and nice. Sounds obvious but we have a “no dickheads” policy at Koru Kids. We only hire people who are humble, love to learn and are generally good eggs.
  • You're ok with ambiguity. Things won’t always be 100% clear, things might change direction and you’ll have to enjoy figuring stuff out as you go. Google & Chat GPT will be a close ally.
  • You have a strong data mindset and are motivated by growth and making KPI’s shift - you’re the type of person that would review recent social posts to understand which time of day, layouts or copy get the best results without being asked — it’s just how you do things.
  • You have a basic understanding of performance marketing. You know your CTA from your CPA and your CTR from your CPC. You’re used to reading dashboards, making decisions and running experiments on Meta and Google.

What the job involves

  • Help us find incredible nannies and attract families who need to find brilliant childcare
  • Support our marketing manager with performance marketing channels from writing PPC copy to influencer briefs.
  • Create social ads and organic creative – you’ll need an eye for design and enjoy making things look perfectly on-brand. If you have experience making Reels and Video we’ll be extra excited to meet you!
  • Run our on-campus activations from Sept-Nov (and maybe some inbetween). We run a BIG student campaign every year to recruit students to be part-time nannies and you’ll be managing the plan, making it happen, measuring the results and hopefully delivering YoY growth. We’ve got a playbook we’ve refined over years, so you’ll have a starting point but we love people that want to put their own stamp on things
  • Run growth experiments for peak times of year – this will include TikTok and Referrals

Koru Kids has focused on after-school childcare, allowing them to hone their product and solve one of the most neglected areas. This is specifically important in major cities like London, where parents are often working longer hours.

The business takes out all the hassle of finding a nanny. The solution isn't simply technology: Koru Kids also interviews, trains and references its nannies, and takes care of contracts, holiday pay and taxes. This operational complexity builds a competitive advantage.
