Who you are

  • 5+ years of high-volume technical recruiting & sourcing experience (a combination of agency + internal recruiting experience preferred)
  • Expertise with Greenhouse ATS & LinkedIn Recruiter required
  • Demonstrated success managing the entire recruiting lifecycle from sourcing and engaging talent to closing
  • Passion and drive to work independently and creatively problem solve in a fast paced environment
  • A detail-oriented and efficient approach to task prioritization
  • Exhibited success in stakeholder management
  • Additional experience recruiting non technical roles is a plus
  • Ability to work onsite in our NYC office 3 days a week

What the job involves

  • Pinwheel is looking for a driven Technical Recruiter who is eager to join a high-paced environment where they’ll make an immediate impact. You’ll be tasked with discovering, engaging and building Pinwheel’s talent foundation. As the first point of contact for the majority of our candidates, you’ll evangelize Pinwheel’s talent brand and provide each and every one of our candidates with delightful experiences
  • Owning Pinwheel’s primary Engineering pipelines
  • Ensure that the top of the funnel is diverse and healthy
  • Engage and qualify prospective candidates for the role
  • Guide candidates through the entire interview process quickly and provide a world-class experience; from sourcing to closing
  • Serving as Pinwheel’s primary Sourcer
  • Build candidate pipelines for both bespoke and evergreen roles
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies, partnering with the key stakeholders and analyzing role requirements to determine target candidate profiles
  • Create innovative sourcing strategies, including leveraging your knowledge of organizations, platforms, and networks, to attract and engage underrepresented talent
  • Maintain a network of high-potential candidates through thoughtful engagement practices, building candidate rapport through trust, and acting as a candidate advisor
  • Track and analyze data on sourcing and conversion efforts to understand the efficacy of sourcing strategies and drive improvements as needed
  • Assisting with recruiting initiatives/ projects that will drive Pinwheel’s recruiting machine

Pinwheel builds an API that helps Neobanks access and modify their customers' payroll services. It's primarily focused on enabling easy direct-deposit switches in order to promote a fairer financial system for all.

Pinwheel is laser-focused on perfecting UX and product integration in this area, which has won the company coverage of over 70% of paid Americans, and nearly half of all Neobank direct-deposit switches. This secure market position will help it comfortably expand its client services into other API offerings like income verification.

As the US begins to competitively adopt the Open Banking methods already popular in the EU, Pinwheel has made some strategic partnerships, including Lumin Digital and Bankjoy. These collaborations are driving increased account activation and deposit growth for financial institutions, positioning Pinwheel as a key player in Open Banking methods.
