What the job involves

  • As a Sales Development Representative, you will be pivotal in driving Sirona Medical's growth by identifying and engaging potential new clients, showcasing how our innovative radiology solutions can transform their operations
  • You are the initial point of contact, tasked with sparking interest and paving the way for in-depth sales discussions
  • Lead Generation: Use targeted strategies to identify potential clients in the healthcare sector, focusing on how our integrated radiology systems can meet their needs
  • Qualification of Leads: Assess the potential of leads to benefit from our unified platform, including our advanced viewer and AI-enhanced diagnostic tools
  • Appointment Setting: Arrange detailed discussions between prospects and sales executives, emphasizing the benefits and efficiencies our solutions offer
  • CRM Management: Keep meticulous records of interactions and statuses in our CRM system, ensuring all team members have up-to-date information
  • Market Research: Keep abreast of technological advancements and competitive developments in radiology to refine and enhance sales pitches
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine approaches based on market feedback and new product capabilities
  • Performance Metrics: Consistently meet or exceed monthly targets for qualified leads and arranged meetings

Our take

Radiology and medical imaging - which accounts for a massive amount of all medical data - has been relying on legacy techs for decades, with fragmented software and applications piled on top of each other without integration. Sirona intends to revolutionize tech for radiology, with its all-in-one AI-enabled OS platform.

It boasts everything a radiologist needs in one place - such as a worklist, viewer, reporter, and PACS archive - as well as being cloud-based and having AI integration for quicker measurements enabling quicker diagnosis. There are a few other features, but in effect it optimizes the workflow from beginning to end.

The company has attracted positive attention, and within three years of launch it managed to claim 3% of the US market. AI-assisted radiology has been talked about for a while now, and has never quite caught on, but Sirona’s model could well be the answer seeing as it has been used on over 1.5 million cases.
