Finance Assistant (Mid-Level), Scaleup Finance

• 2 + Years of Mid level Finance assistant - owning the month end process including posting prepayment/ Accruals journals, deferred revenue & client queries
• 2+ years of working with Xero or similar system
• Excellent communication skills: including managing internal and external stakeholders
• Previous external stakeholder management preferred
• Able to work to tight deadlines and work independently
• UK Payroll experience preferred but not essential

• As Finance Assistant you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients. Together with your team you will need to ensure that everything in the finance function is prepared with high quality, from bookkeeping to reporting and financial statements.

• General financial management - bookkeeping, payments, journals, process optimisation, etc
• Financial controls including; Decision support, risk management and analysis
• Define and implement internal processes and activities that ensure the best possible delivery
• Internal stakeholder management: Supporting the Finance Business Partners and CFO partners with management accounts
• External stakeholder management - including client calls and resolving queries independently from CFO partners
